Web Site Designer Wanted

So the title will either cause my inbox to melt with Spam mail, or be completely ignored - either way I hope that out there amongst my loyal watchers and fellow pencil drawers, photographers and creative's there is someone who can help develop a website for me (or at least give me some advice)

Before the questions roll in - a bit of a Q&A;

Why?  

Well many of you may not be aware but Deviant Art has been on the Chinese Great Firewall Black List for about 3 months, and the iron curtain doesn't seem to be lifting or opening any time soon  - yes I can bypass the censors and scrutineers by utilising a VPN, which is laborious, tiresome and lets face it archaic but not everyone in China has access to a VPN, which means cutting out potentially 1.4 billion people from seeing my work

Have you told DA about the problem?  

Yes I have but lets face it - if Google, Facebook, Twitter and the New York Times cant come broker a deal with the Chinese government, then I seriously doubt DA can!

Why have the Chinese banned DA?

God knows, literally he must be the only one who know's! It could be some of the porn that try's to pass as art they disapprove of, or the messaging ability or  perhaps they just don't like the new logo Either way its blocked, banned, censored, restricted - dead in the PRC!

Does that mean your leaving DA?

Definitely NOT, I would not be drawing without DA and to not draw would give life little reason or purpose(apart from family, alcohol, fast cars, watches, Formula 1 etc. etc. ) - I am simply looking for an outlet to show more of my work and offer prints and originals for sale (DA charges too much commission and desperately needs to sort its pricing system out) 

Why don't you use ETSY, Shopify, Blurb, FineartAmerica etc.?

Well I could but feel that they are just trying to be the same and I think it is time to get my own personalised website that I am in control off and is specific to my work.

Why don't you do it yourself?  

Believe me I have tried, I'm pretty computer savvy and OK at design, but I just don't seem to be able to crack this website deal? So rather than me keep attempting and failing to set one up, I feel I should leave it to an expert

So are you willing to pay?

Of course, I am a great believer in paying for someone else's skill's, be it a gardener, builder, or indeed a website designer - that's not to say I want to commission the next DA, something simple, clean and above all user friendly will do - the price should reflect this (Of course I would be happy to pay via a commission also)

So what's next?
