Suggester says: "The way the water flows and how he executed it was splendidly done. I'm really amazed at how he caught the physics of water so well!" This piece is not only well done but unique and full of detail.Water Dragon (Pencil) by =Paul-Shanghai

Description

I have only had to enter the words (pencil) after a title once before, that was for my drawing 'Running Water'
Running Water (Pencil) by Paul-Shanghai
When I finished this drawing I felt the same way that I did when I finished that one, apart from completely exhausted, I actually liked what I saw in front of me and wanted to make sure people knew that it was drawn with a pencil rather than digital.

This was my most difficult, intense and tiring drawing. Taking over 60 hours to complete, I used only one pencil - my 0.5mm mechanical 4B pencil, why? I guess I was really lazy and didn't want to change pencils every 2 minutes - if I had It would have taken twice as long! it was also good practise in applying varying amounts of pressure to get different effects, rather than using various grades of pencil. My other friend's on creating this were my blending stump, "Tombo Mono Zero' eraser and little brush to keep the rubbings off the paper :D

Drawn on locally sourced smooth paper, dimensions - 70cm X 40cm.
