Hang Loose

I was inspired to draw this by the fact that I have just brought a house near the coast, and very close to some fantastic surfing beaches.  I'm not a surfer myself, but I have tried in the past and have enormous respect for the guys and gals that do - this is the first and will definitely not be the last surfing drawing I do  

Drawn on locally sourced smooth (Bristol Board type) paper, this one took me a good 35-40 hours and lots of pencils to fill the large 60cm X 40cm area.  Using my usual choice of 0.5mm mechanical pencil with 4B leads, and a range of traditional pencils from 4H through to 8B - I love it and hope you do to
