I came across this self-portrait by talented artist 'Fatigued'[link] whilst searching DA with one of my favourite words 'Melancholy'

it wasn't just the title that made me want to draw it, the eyes, the darkness and the emotion expressed through the photograph are what encouraged me to put pencil to paper.

I hope I have done the photograph justice, and that you like it.

Size A3 Bristol Board Smooth
Range of traditional and Mechanical pencils from 4H to 8B
Blending stumps and erasers
Approx 10 hours or so

Very kind of you - not my favoiurite piece, in fact I will re-draw this one as the original photograph is fantastic, and I need to do it more justice :)

The eyes were quite glassy in this, full of tears (or at least they seem) - so they look very different to most other eyes you will see on DA - I like them like this :)
